Town of Griffith Park Regulations for Picnics

Please read the following rules.   Noncompliance with any of these rules will result in LOSS OF future park privileges and refund.

1. Motorized vehicles are permitted in the park to LOAD AND UNLOAD; failure to remove vehicles from the park will result a fine.

Central Park

No parking, except on the adjacent streets.

1a. Vehicles are permitted into the park for loading and unloading ONLY.

1b. Vehicles must enter from southbound Broad Street and exit on Pine Street.

1c. Vehicles must stay on the paved path or designated roadways.

1d. Vehicles are not permitted in the pavilion or on the adjacent patios.

1. No grills are permitted under the roof of the pavilion.
2. No dumping of coals on trees, grass, plants, etc.
3. Vandalism will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
4. Park rental hours are from 10am until dusk.
5. No glass bottles of any kind are permitted in the park.
6. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the park.
7. All Town ordinances must be complied with.
8. Any additional activities not available in the parks must be submitted in writing and authorized by the Griffith Park Board one month prior to your requested date.  For example; moonwalks, dunk tanks, fund-raisers, DJs, bands, etc.
9. All music must be family friendly. No explicit language or excessive noise volume is allowed.

Violations of the above will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
