Contractor License

 

All contractors working for hire in the Town of Griffith must have a valid Griffith Contractor License. Even doing work that does not require a permit, the contractor must still hold a valid license. Feel free contact the Griffith Building Department to confirm if a contractor has a license.

 

Contractor License

Contractors can apply/renew online or fill out contractor license application and send in to the Building Department by fax or email.

Required paperwork:

  • Completed contractor application
  • Current COI (certificate of insurance) showing liability coverage and workers compensation insurance with the Town of Griffith as a certificate holder
  • Copy of recorded license and permit bond
  • Copy of current driver's license of the company owner
